Delphi Development

We offer Delphi consulting services at market rates. We normally hire out at a daily Delphi contractor consulting rate through our limited company – Nebel Ltd, and take on both short and longer term contracts. We have a full time developer available, as well as a few part time developers, and can work remotely from our Camberley office or on-site.

With a long and rich history of proud Delphi development since the world-changing Borland Delphi version 1 release – which we used mainly for Windows communication drivers for SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) factory automation projects, plus some interfaces for the PLC’s, we have experience in almost all sectors and business requirements.

When Borland released their 32 bit Delphi Client/Server platform, we took it to new levels by redeveloping our complete and very successful “Customer Universe” CRM system in it (previously one of the largest Visual Basic applications of its time). The new system took 3 years of intense R&D and would challenge some CRM systems today for its design and advanced technologies built in, like on-the-fly configuration (ie “live” extension), a dynamic business model (ie adapts the model to the data as many customers are “different”), user extended business components, dynamically generated forms, extremely fast and easy searching and unmatched (even today) storage metrics due to the unique “atom” MS SQL schema design.

We are extending many of those concepts in our latest CRM product which we are developing – also in Delphi, albeit much newer versions (we started with Embarcadero Delphi XE2, currently using  XE5, and soon to move to the latest version) which allows us the flexibility of targeting newer hardware platforms like Android and iOS handhelds using Delphi / Firemonkey API, as well as building world-class business layer and web-services with leading technology.

Recently, we have completed Delphi contracts in extending and maintaining critical 24×7 production systems – from prescription order through controlling factory robotics and manufacturing machines through automated dispatch systems, developing middle-ware products to interface between CRM systems such as Oracle / Siebel to various external systems, writing CRM SQL data export and load tools, and also we created the excellent EMEA Sales Forecast Toolset for Mercury Interactive Ltd (before they were bough by HP Software Ltd) which revolutionized their EMEA Sales channels and got a standing ovation from their global board of directors upon its release and feedback results.

With a background in ergonomics and UI / UX design, we make sure to not just develop good solutions, but also solutions that are well accepted by users and very functional.
